runDisney Racecations

runDisney races have a special little place on my medal rack. Whether it's an DisneyLand or DisneyWorld, I just love planning my major "racecations" around Disney races. I do appreciate the benefit of having friends and family near Anaheim, and used to live within driving distance of Orlando, but even with the extra travel and planning required now, I would highly recommend any runDisney race as a bucket list race or family vacation option. Here's my posts on races I've run myself and spectated at:

Star Wars Half - The Dark Side 2016
The Inaugural Star Wars Half at Disney World, when I found out I am a little short for a stormtrooper. I reviewed our stay at the Pop Century Resort and the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival.

Glass Slipper Challenge 2016: Part 1 and Part 2
These races I ran just shy of 6 months after having my daughter, Lilly, and they were my first two "long runs" back. These posts include reviews of two hotels (The Swan and Port Orleans-Riverside), breakfast at 'Ohana, and visits to Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom.

Rebel Challenge 2015
Since my husband and I are both HUGE Star Wars fans (see our first runDisney race, when we ran as Han and Leia) so of course we had to do the inaugural Rebel Challenge at DL. This was just a few weeks after I found out I was pregnant, so I was pretty exhausted, but still a great race!

Avenger's Half Marathon 2014 (Chear squad review)
My husband ran this one solo, since Active.com is the worst, and I got the Chear Squad Package. Spectating can be just as fun as running!

Glass Slipper Challenge 2014: Part 1 and Part 2
This wasn't the most fun Disney weekend ever, since the friends I was supposed to go with all missed out at the very.last.second. Still, my first challenge weekend.

Princess Half Marathon 2013
My first runDisney race!
